I recently came across a Reader's Digest from September 2021. Inside, I found this great article, "How to Boost Your Energy". Here are the top 5 ways listed to boost your energy in 60 seconds!
Pour some peppermint tea
Open the blinds
Take a few deep breaths
Chew a piece of sugar-free gum
Sing along to a song
I think the suggestions above are a fantastic start! I personally enjoy slow breathing rather than deep breathing as I tend to hyperventilate when deep breathing. Breathing is challenging for me when I am stressed. When I am overwhelmed, I tend to hold my breath as many people who are stressed do. Reminding myself to breathe in slowing and breathing out slowly allows me to stay in the moment and calm myself. Find what works for you! None of these suggestions are absolutes.
I enjoy peppermint tea and find it helps me to relax. I also love Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Peppermint Pure Castile Soap. When I come home from a busy work day I love to soak in a relaxing bath with Dr. Bronner's. It relaxes me and helps ease my stress which allows me to tend to my second full time job, my family at home! As a single parent and sole provider my work is never done! An added bonus is the Hemp Peppermint soap is fantastic for opening your sinuses and sharpening your mind!
In addition, Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap has an organic composition making it safe to use on your body, as a household cleaner, and even your pets. Here is a link to a helpful dilution cheat sheet.

Here's a clip of the article which explains how these quick boosts work:

Now, let's dig a little deeper and find out why you are tired?
This same article gives 8 possible reasons you might be tired and are often overlooked.
You spend too much time on the coach
You are pushing yourself too hard
You are anxious
You are low on vitamins
You are depressed
You are eating an unbalanced diet
You are not breathing well at night
Your thyroid is strained
I think these are all possible reasons for being tired. I can think of one more, perhaps you are lonely! I find when I am tired what I am really tired of is being alone and isolated from the community, my support system, and my friends! Try connecting and see if your mood instantly changes! I know my mood is uplifted when I surround myself with good people!
